Shrikes in field - the first season of a new project
While the most of our team members are working on stork project, Joanna and Anita are labouring under very harsh weather conditions in a field with red-backed shrikes. Fortunately, this year shrikes are more keen to collaboration, and girls have caught many of them and measured head (a proxy for brain size). Just accidentally they caught also some other birds (see gallery).
